The best news possible was given to me today! I am in stable condition with no evidence of cancer in my bones, no progression to other areas of my body, my bones have healed, and my blood work is A1! My game day scans have moved from three months to six months which is a win in my marathon over cancer.

Before leaving the hospital, I stopped to buy two Smile Cookies. The Tim Horton’s Smile Cookie campaign supports numerous charities across our country including those who support cancer research, cancer support, and cancer centres.

My husband and I left the hospital with the smiles of the winners who won our second battle with cancer. I am grateful for my oncology team, researched medicines, our lifestyle choices, and everyone who prayed for me and cheered me on!
