Banana Wisdom
I love anything with bananas. These Banana Oatmeal Cookies are a delicious way to benefit from the fact that bananas are a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin B6, and other nutrients. Bananas are also great for digestion and heart health.
Combinations with chia seeds, almond milk, oatmeal and dried fruits continue the list of healthy foods. I chose to add cocoa nibs because they contain lots of antioxidants, which help reduce cell damage. They also contain fibre, which promotes healthy digestion.
This recipe was shared with me by my neighbour and friend, who has followed the words of Hippocrates, “Let Food Be Thy Medicine and Medicine Be Thy Food.” Not only is this recipe healthy, but it's also super easy to prepare and gets food from oven to plate in a snap.
