Most of us have been told Angels have wings. Some of us
have learned they have paws.
Twice a week, Tavis accompanies me in my yoga classes. He visits each yogi as they join me physically and provides a calm presence for those who join me virtually. He is an angel on earth who exudes tranquility, unconditional love, and peace. If you have yet to experience the profound impact of practicing yoga alongside a Golden, I highly encourage you to do so.
Among Christopher West's hymns, "Let Me Be a Channel of Your Peace" stands out as a personal favourite. This particular hymn is a guiding force, encouraging us to be a channel of peace, light, and love for others.
Make me a channel of your peace.
Where there is despair in life let me bring hope.

I am fortunate to have numerous blessings that provide me with the strength to persevere with stage 4 cancer. Among these blessings are Tavis and the practice of yoga. Tavis and yoga contribute to my ability to find peace and healing in a state of rest and repair, my parasympathetic state.
It is widely recognized that individuals who have animal companions experience improved recovery from illnesses, maintain cognitive sharpness as they age, and live joyful lives.
Throughout my journey, I created this site to provide hope, knowledge, and experiences to empower individuals to live healthier lives. Moreover, I aim to inspire those like myself who have faced the challenges of living with cancer to surpass all expectations. Hopefully, I will serve as Tavis does by being a channel of peace for you!
