This winter in Costa Rica has been full of sunshine, movement, connection, and well-being. It has also been a season of trust, trusting I can care for my health while stepping outside my routines and surroundings in Nova Scotia.

With ongoing health needs, I don't leave that part of myself behind when I travel; I bring it. I've learned that thriving isn't about doing it alone, but about building a circle of care that goes wherever you do.

In Tamarindo, I'm grateful for the team at Ocean Clinic Laboratory. From my first visit, I was met with professionalism and kindness. With each visit, I was reminded that quality care can be found in Costa Rica.

I also have the support of my health team at home, who encourage me to live and travel. Thank you to my general practitioner oncologist, Dr. Harris, and the team for your continued care, guidance, and commitment. Your steady presence and expertise let me embrace experiences like this with confidence.
