A Tiny New Light in My Life

Last night, I had the joy of celebrating my Birthday with someone very special in my arms, my sweet grandson. There is something indescribable about holding a tiny new life so close. As I sang softly to him, I was reminded of my own mother and how she would gently rock her grandchildren as she sang. It felt like a beautiful moment carried through the generations of unconditional love and joy.

This little guy has changed my world in the most tender way. His presence brings new wonder to our lives. I am grateful for every chance to hold him, breathe him in, and simply be part of his beginning.

As I look toward the future, my Birthday wish is simple: to share many wonderful moments as he grows. To watch him discover the world, to celebrate his milestones, to witness his laughter, and to witness the person he will become.

Life gives us many gifts, but being a grandmother is one of the best. I plan to savour every stage, from tiny fingers to toddling feet, from childhood wonder to the bright spirit he will be.

He is my reminder that love continues, grows, and rises in the smallest of moments.
