Celebrating 200 Blogs — and a New Resource for Our Community

Today is a special milestone for me. This is my 200th blog post, and I feel truly grateful.

When I started writing Living Life Over Cancer, my goal was to share my thoughts on living with cancer, finding strength in daily life, and learning how to live fully even when things are uncertain.

I never expected that a community would form around these posts.

Over time, these blogs turned into more than just reflections. They became conversations about resilience, hope, healing, and living with purpose.

Together, we have explored important topics like mindset, movement, nourishment, self-advocacy, and caring for both body and spirit.

Each post reminds me that living life over cancer isn’t about ignoring what’s real. It’s about choosing to live fully, right where we are.

Thank you to everyone who has read, shared, or reached out to share the positive impact RISE: Living Life Over Cancer has had on your life.

In celebration of this milestone, I am also excited to share something new.

Many readers have shared that they would like to include RISE: Living Life Over Cancer as a book club read in support of their communities. To help guide those conversations, I created a new resource.

The RISE Book Club and Community Discussion Guide

I would also like to extend my thanks to Seraphina Caelis of Smart Authors Hub for her collaboration, support, and help in bringing this guide to life.

The guide includes prompts and reflections to help groups talk about resilience, mindful living, and wellness together.

You can download the guide here:

If you’re part of a book club, library group, or support community, I invite you to share this resource with your group. Meaningful conversations often start with a question, a story, or simply listening.

If you know someone who might find these reflections helpful, please share this blog with them.

After two hundred blogs, one thing is still clear.

Life keeps inviting us to grow, connect, and live with purpose.

With gratitude,

Betty Jean
