The Heartwarming Truth Behind Santa Claus on Christmas Eve

Updated: Aug 25, 2024

On this 24th day of the countdown to Christmas Eve, my true self gives me a reminder to live in the Christmas spirit all year long.

"Santa Claus is anyone who loves another and seeks to make them happy; who gives them self by thought or word or deed in every gift that they bestow; who shares their joys with those who are sad; whose hand is never closed against the needy; whose arm is ever outstretched to aid the weak; whose sympathy is quick and genuine in time of trouble; who recognizes a comrade and friend in every human they meet upon life's common road; who lives their life throughout the entire year in the Christmas spirit." — Edwin Osgood Grover.

Thanks for joining me in the countdown to Christmas. I hope that when you wake up on Christmas Day, the spirit of Christmas fills your heart and your home with health, laughter, harmony, and joy!

Merry Christmas!

I love this Betty Jean. I think that this is something I need to save and share, because when I was a child, Santa Claus represented something magical and so unselfish. Despite being naughty, I really thought I must have had some degree of 'nice' in me because, every morning on every December 25th, gifts were present. Santa embodies so much. We all can be like Santa, on every day before and after the 25th of December. The gift of kindness encompasses such a broad array of replenishments. Let's fill up those who are sometimes quietly forsaken. Let's make ourselves available with continued humility and grace. ❤️💚
