Cozy Up with This Hearty African Sweet Potato Soup Recipe

Updated: Aug 25

Add some sweet potatoes if you're looking for a delicious way to reduce inflammation. Many people who suffer from side effects or illnesses often suffer from inflammation. I am fortunate to have no side effects from all three-drug regimens. I attribute this to reduced inflammation and sugar from eating natural foods. Sweet potatoes are rich in slow-digesting carbohydrates that provide sustained energy, making them an excellent carbohydrate to add to your diet.

When cooking, experiment with the amount of peanut butter you use. The recipe usually requires two tablespoons of peanut butter, but I used one tablespoon. I love peanut butter, but I find two tablespoons is too much. You can add more if you like. Kraft Real Peanut Butter is low in saturated fat, high in unsaturated fat, and contains no trans fat. It’s also a favourite among those who have a gluten-free diet.

It’s winter, and this soup is perfect for a cold night! Enjoy!
