2 Easy and Delicious Granola Recipes for a Healthy Start to Your Day

On the 4th day of Christmas countdown, my true self gave to me: two great granola recipes. Granola is a great start to a healthy breakfast. Oats contain cancer-preventing fiber and important vitamins. When it comes to nuts, I often choose walnuts. They are rich in polyphenols and antioxidants. Polyphenols protect body tissues from diseases such as cancer, coronary heart disease, and inflammation.

Two of my favorite recipes were given to me by friends. One recipe is nut-free so people with diverticular disease can enjoy the benefits of eating granola. Wheat germ provides a nutty flavor in this recipe. The other recipe comes from a friend who like me loves simple recipes with big tastes. This recipe is a quick, easy, and healthy alternative to your breakfast cereal.

Both recipes include healthy alternatives to white/brown sugar, vegetable oil, sweetened coconut, table salt, and bleached parchment paper
