It might seem weird to talk about salad dressing when it's snowing, but like many of you, I love salad all year round. Salads are often rich in fibre and plant-based foods that provide essential minerals and vitamins for a healthy body. The ingredients and dressings you choose should be healthy yet delicious.
I like to experiment with different shades of green; romaine, kale, spinach, and arugula. Then it’s fun to choose vegetables, fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, and cheese as toppings. To bring all these flavours together, use one of my go-to dressings below.
To eat healthily, I make my dressings instead of buying dressings with unnatural ingredients. Your plant-based ingredients deserve healthy and delicious choices, and so do you!
