Christmas is a season of meaning and traditions, a special season spent in the warm circle of family and friends.
On the 17th day of the countdown to Christmas, a young neighbour took the lead in organizing a fun Christmas Sweater Murder Mystery. As friends become family, it has always been important for us to celebrate traditions. Murder mysteries have been a favourite of mine to host throughout the years celebrating various holidays. What a nice surprise to see the tradition being carried out by our younger generation.
Living life over cancer, I have learned to appreciate moments of fun and laughter in my life. The event was truly filled with laughter and fun. My parents talked about the importance of modeling and molding what we desire to see in our sons and daughters. Our children look to us and so let us guide them. The way we conduct ourselves in life affects them and can be a blessing or a curse. How happy and proud we were of passing on the traditions of our time to the next generation.
So, this Christmas, try to spend some time with family and friends and celebrate life with laughter and fun. What goes around comes around. Let it be joy and fun!
