Sometimes, you have to drop your guard so your heart can breathe. - Emma Xu
Your body, mind, and soul are considered your home. When we practice mindful living, we honour our feelings. This year has been a challenging year for me. Our granddaughter, Eliza Marie, died in utero in January, and in August, I was diagnosed with recurrent stage 4 breast cancer. I shed tears and allowed myself to feel the emotional pain and sadness. This is not only okay but necessary to help me continue to process these life events and heal.
Waves of grief come and go, and so do tears. I allow them because they keep me strong, moving forward, and living in the present. So embrace your vulnerability and humanness. The bravest people are the ones who let all feelings come into their house to process them and set them free.
