There is no footprint too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.
Today, we pay tribute to our beloved angel, Eliza Marie Aucoin, who peacefully entered our lives on January 4, 2023. It was a blessing to hold her, even if only for a moment, as we vowed to cherish her within our hearts forever.
During my visit to Fort Meyers, Florida, last year, I stumbled upon a picturesque park that paid tribute to the precious lives of infants and children who had passed away in the adjacent hospital. The park was adorned with numerous plaques, gracing the walls and encircling the serene benches. Each plaque bore the child's name, their dates, and a moving quote. I sat as a grandmother and cried for them and Eliza Marie.
I have included some of the quotations that gave solace and strength to the parents, grandparents, families, and friends as they navigated through one of life's most difficult experiences. Like us, they may not have had the opportunity to safeguard their children, but they will forever preserve and cherish their memory.
I carried you every second of your life, and I will love you for every second of mine.
I will hold you in my heart until I can hold you in Heaven.
She was born silent, but her little life spoke volumes.
And to think, the first thing he saw when his little eyes opened was the face of Jesus.
I've learned that grief is really just love. It's all the love you want to give but cannot. Grief is love with no place to go.
You were born silent. Perfect and beautiful. Still loved. Still missed. Still remembered. Everyday. Stillborn.
Some only dream of angels; I held one in my arms.
Planted on earth to bloom in Heaven.
Imagine a love so strong it made saying hello and goodbye in the same day worth all the pain.
